As a general reminder, please disambiguate nominations – it makes approving nominations easier, and we are more likely to notice if a nomination unintentionally synned to something else (ex. because you nominated a specific version that AO3 synns to the general canon). What is the relationship between these fandoms (are these separate games, or is Recollection an individual arc of the Tales of the Rays game that can be enjoyed independently of the rest of the game, or something else)? If Recollection is not an independent game/arc, we would accept those nominations under Tales of the Rays (Video Game).

Hi! I'm pretty sure it was me who nominated the Pokemon ones, I'd be happy with them under the main video game series (I believe they appear in the anime but haven't watched that far myself)

Milla Maxwell and Kasque both appear in Tales of Crestoria as seen in the wiki https://talesofcrestoria.fandom.com/wiki/Chapter_Milla
It's true that Milla is also a Tales of Xillia character, but this is an AU version of her much like the rest of the legacy characters, rather than the "original" Milla: the personality and backstory is completely different, and she was raised together with Kasque (who isn't a character who exists in Xillia).

This is the adult Elle with purple eyes from Tales of Asteria https://aselia.fandom.com/wiki/Elle_Mel_Marta_(Tales_of_Asteria) but after Asteria's end of service she was summoned into Tales of the Rays and became a playable character there https://tales-of-the-rays.fandom.com/wiki/Elle_(Asteria)
Because this Elle is also an AU version of the Elle from Tales of Xillia 2, and said Elle also appears in Tales of the Rays, I decided to nominate it that way. The two Elles can be seen together during one of the game's scenes here https://tales-of-the-rays.fandom.com/wiki/Delicious_Soup

> Rays VS Recollection

As I said in its promo post for Yuletide https://yuletide.dreamwidth.org/326270.html?thread=5258622#cmt5258622 Recollection is set several centuries into the future and features a different cast with an original story which means that, unlike the previous four arcs, you can play/watch through Recollection without being familiar with "Tales of the Rays" and even "Tales of" as a whole. If you ask me personally then they should be treated as separate fandoms, much like "Tales of Phantasia" is a distant sequel of "Tales of Symphonia" and a separate tag, and "Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World" is also a sequel to "Tales of Symphonia" that's a separate fandom tag in AO3, even if these games have sometimes been bundled/purchasable together. I already didn't agree with AO3 when it merged "Tales of Destiny" with "Tales of Destiny 2": the latter is a sequel with a different cast and new story.

Thanks for the response! All of these sound good - we've approved the Tales of the Rays and Tales of Crestoria nominations, and accepted Tales of the Rays: Recollection as its own fandom.
