I nominated a few relationships for Kara no Kyoukai involving Ryougi SHIKI. However, in the form they were approved under, they were adjusted to be about Ryougi Shiki instead. To clarify: those are two different characters whose names are read as しき but written with different kanji, respectively 織 and 式, which are generally respectively rendered by the English-speaking fandom as 'SHIKI' and 'Shiki' for disambiguation since we don't have kanji here. Changing the one to the other isn't just case-regularization; it changes which character is being referred to. Was this a mistake, or is there some sort of technical restriction on AO3 preventing them from being approved in the form I nominated them under? If the latter, is there any way I'll be able to unambiguously specify which of those characters I intend my relationship-tags to be pointed to when it comes time for signups?

Unfortunately, due to how AO3 handles upper and lower case characters interchangeably, we aren't able to change the case from Shiki to SHIKI (and any tag formatted as "Ryougi Shiki" will always be "Shiki" and not "SHIKI" once it's in AO3, even if you type the capitalization out). We could add a disambiguation using the kanji, for instance:
Ryougi SHIKI (織) & Any (Kara no Kyoukai)

If there's another disambiguation you'd prefer, let us know so we can correct the tags, and apologies for the capitalization+character referencing issue.
