I know both the anime and the manga. I just love Zakuro and want more stuff with her. I am cool with her being paired with characters from other magical girl canons, just not other Mew Mews. I also love crossovers with DC and Marvel comics.
I love the potential for horror in Tokyo Mew Mew and would love someone to really build that up. I mean it's teenage girls combined with animal DNA without their knowledge or consent! That's dark! I also potentially love the idea of a Marvel crossover where Zakuro is a mutant and the ears and tail are part of it.
