As a reminder, this year signups are allowed to request a minimum of 1 fandom and offer a minimum of 1 fandom. Only participants requesting at least 3 distinct fandoms will be guaranteed a gift; pinch hits will still be sent out for those requesting fewer than 3 fandoms, but the collection will not be delayed if their pinch hit is not claimed. Anyone who requested fewer than 3 distinct fandoms and is a post-deadline pinch hit will be contacted and given 48 hours past the deadline to add additional fandoms if they wish. 

For the sake of this exchange, generally fandoms are “distinct” if they refer to separate, non-redundant fandoms in the tagset. For instance, if a fandom is a manga with an anime adaptation, “Fandom (Anime)” with “Fandom (Manga),” and “Fandom (All Media Types)” with “Fandom (Manga),” are both counted as 2 fandoms, but combining Anime, Manga, and AMT still results in only 2 distinct fandoms.
